How can I place an ad?
If you have a room, apartmentshare / houseshare, apartment or a house to rent,
simply click on the link "have a room".
If you are looking for or want to rent a shared apartment, room, apartment / houseshare or house,
simply click on the link "room wanted".

How can I read an ad?
Ads are available in "have a room" or "room wanted".

How can I edit my ad?
Click on the "edit-link" we sent you in your ad confirmation email.
Enter your username and password. You can now edit your ad.
Alternatively:
Locate your ad in the system. In the bottom right corner of your ad you will find a field saying either "edit offer" or "edit search".
Using your username and password you can log in and edit your ad.

How can I delete my ad?
Click on the "delete-link" we sent you in your ad confirmation e-mail.
Enter your username and password. You can now delete your ad.
Alternatively:
Locate your ad in the system. In the bottom left corner of your ad you will find a field saying either "delete offer" or "delete search".
Using your username and password you can log in and delete your ad.

I have forgotten my password. Now what?
Using the link "forgotten password?" you will receive a password.
Please note:
Please only use the email address, which you stated in your ad,
As password data will only be sent to the e-mail address used in the ad.

How much does the Housingfox service cost?
This service is free for private use only. Please contact us for commercial use.

How can I add photos to my ad?
After you have completed and sent the advertisment form, you will automatically
be redirected to the screen picture upload. For subsequent additions of one or more
pictures you can also go to the picture upload via "edit offer" using your
username and password.

What do the figures in front of the individual ads symbolize?
The symbols demonstrate the number of male / female housemates currently living in the shared apartment/house, and if applicable the preferred gender.

Why am I required to enter username and password?
This allows you to later edit or delete your own ad as and when required.
